This project is part of our larger garage workshop build series where we cover building the woodworking workshop of our dreams from the ground up. In this part of our series, we tackle the ceiling. We decided to go with Plywood for the visual appeal it provides but also because it’s much easier to install when compared to a traditional drywall ceiling. But how much did it cost us and was it worth it in the end? Watch to the end to find out!
I’ve had my eye on a wooden Christmas Tree Collar for years now but I couldn’t bring myself to spend over $100 on one. This year I decided to try and make it myself using readily available materials from our local Home Depot. In this video I’ll break down all the steps I took to make it so you can follow along and learn from my mistakes. I wanted to share this simple, beginner woodworking project because it’s perfect for the hobbyist woodworker who is just getting started and doesn’t necessarily have a workshop full of tools.
